    ... and take the main highway south. got tied up in road works which held us up for over 40 minutes. The clouds were getting lower and lower and visibility was dropping so a scenic trip around the thumb of Michigan was off the plan. Followed the highway all the way to Port Huron.

    We have started our real Canadian trip now we left in our hire car a "Sh#t Box Black Dodge" (Blues Brothers Terminolgy) driving with my very nervous dad who says that why would you drive on this side of the road!     ... with us and off we went to our campsite. It's pretty fancy - they even provide us with our own gas grill and patio set. Lots going on around the park, but it's really nice and relaxing. Sandy is loving it because he's getting to watch all the activity. Had a nice dinner and we're going to go off for ice cream.
