      We woke up and ate sausage and eggs for breakfast. We drove to the water to the Moonstone Beach walk and snapped some photos of harbor seals. We continued our drive up route 1 and stopped at Piedras Lighthouse and saw a lot of elephant seals. We read that this time of year is mating season, thankfully we did not witness that, but there were a lot of cute babies on the beach doing the worm to move around! (Cute videos to follow)

      ... stop and take a few pictures. Romero Overlook off rte 152 nestled in the grassy hills of the San Joaquin Valley. President Kennedy inaugurated this pristine water project.       ... 180 miles, but it seemed like 300 for some reason. Easy drive until we got to Salinas and the traffic became bumper to bumper coming from the beachside communities. Once we were through that we got to Betabel RV Park. We've got a beautiful corner spot that’s probably the longest in the park, right next to the dog walk and open space. Perfect!!
