Yesterday we drove up to Mineral Wells, TX with mom & dad. The main objective was to visit Clark Gardens. We did accomplish that today, but not as good as I had hoped. It rained this morning and the trails were muddy, although the sun was out by the time we arrived, and it was difficult for daddy to walk them. ... a half, and it took us two and a half hours. We had only given ourselves two hours in there because we needed to hit the road. When we got out of the cavern, the sky was ominous. Easy jump today! Only 40 some miles and a 6:30am call time. Sleeping in until 6am was a joy. Our new Saturday and Sunday show times are 2pm & 5pm (earlier than last season) which means we'll actually have a genuine evening to ourselves twice a week. We are so excited although tonight will probably be spent organizing our receipts for tax purposes. Yay.
