      Amity is at grandma's house today and as soon as the packing is done I'm on my way to celebrate the July 4th holiday with her in Longview before we board that plane Saturday morning! A few errands remain and then hopefully I can close up those suitcases so we will be all ready to go. And yes we remembered to pack our Chenzhou t-shirts (see photo below)!!! ...

      ... a quick dip- we were quite tempted!! I know people have been wanting to know the mileage but it's quite hard to tell as we're not cycling as the crow flies along the map and I am not in charge of the iPhone nor have any sense of direction!!  We're trying to avoid the highways and take as many backroads as possible which although is much nicer and safer to cycle on, adds quite a bit of mileage!
