    Since the weather was so agreeable we pushed beyond Logan, UT (where we were going to spend the night) and rode to Farr West, UT. We got a room at the Comfort Inn and it's very nice.

    The mountain section of Utah that we just came through on route 89 reminded me a lot of Colorado; very picturesque, very beautiful.

    Logan Utah is a picturesque town. As you leave the mountain you pass the campus of Utah State University which looks down over the town of Logan.

    ... reminded me a bit ofthe Outer Banks, NC, without the ocean.

    It's also clear, based on the types of properties and houses in this area that folks that have money to spend live here. The hillside houses that overlooked the lake and waterfront housing and stores were rustically gorgeous in their redwood log designs.

    We had breakfast in the Harris unit this morning and were on the road shortly afterwards. Another beautiful sunny day around 23 o. It was only a couple of hours driving today and we were sure Jim appreciated this. He is such a good and careful driver and we have been able to relax completely with him at the wheel.
