We got to pet an adorable Parsons Jack Russell puppy on our lunch stop. People were very polite and astonishingly quiet. I am not used to it anymore.

Tomorrow we will do Yellowstone. It is a big highlight of our trip and we are all looking forward to see that big old Faithful water spout.

About a year ago, my dear friend shared a secret with me. She wanted to go to France. No, it was more than "want", she felt that she "had" to go to France. Almost as if she was being drawn there. When she asked me what this meant? I told her it meant that "I" was supposed to go with her. We talked to our hubbies and they said... go for it. So we started saving our pennies to go.

This was our first stop on our way to our next store. We spotted this Hampton inn and decided to go luxury because we deserve it after bumming around the Northwest coast. The rooms here are great. Woke up the next day to a flat tire. Good thing there was a Sinclair full service gas station on the same block. They fixed it for $10. 

... and several different skill levels and degrees of difficulty. David and I did a very fun 'zip line' together. Then we went on to Park City 'proper' and found more fun stuff to do, This is a very cool area with lots of 'mountain' activities to do. There was a ski lift to take us to do the Alpine slide, which David did alone and Elaine and I both did with one child each. Fast and lots of fun! There was also a cool 'coaster' and another zip line. So that was about it ...

... Anyway, we stopped at a delightful park called the Willard Bay State Park which is next to a fresh water inlet along the Salt Sea. It has a Pelican Preserve and we decided to take a couple of days to see them. It's very hot, humid, and the mosquitos are everywhere. Pat, Doug and I are heading out for a steak dinner.
