... our minds a dozen times since applying for a permit back in April whether we could walk the kids to the bottom and back. Our indecision was caused by the performance of the kids on various lesser hikes. A week before departure however we were in favour of the expedition, which was good because there not much else to do at the grand canyon except walk!
