Fall Leaf Cruise on the Tennessee River
... the beautiful day and the scenic Tennessee River. We saw wild turkeys, deer, blue herons & turtles along the river banks. The main course on the buffet okay; the turtle cheesecake, however, was delectable! But we weren't there for the food. We were there for the scenery! And we were not disappointed. ... road. No local campsites and stealth spots can be time consuming. Decided to stay at a place called Brewstel. Sounds amazing: microbrewery/hostel. Unfortunately it turned out to be an ill attempt at a hostel. Felt like we were paying some dudes to crash in their appt for the night and they just happened to homebrew (nothing to currently offer though). Made a giant dinner.
Got word of a nice campsite and swimming hole at our next destination and found ourselves alone ...
