... the beautiful day and the scenic Tennessee River. We saw wild turkeys, deer, blue herons & turtles along the river banks. The main course on the buffet okay; the turtle cheesecake, however, was delectable! But we weren't there for the food. We were there for the scenery! And we were not disappointed. This is a relaxing way to enjoy Chattanooga's piece of the Tennessee River.

119 miles from Atlanta to Chattanooga. Our route from Atlanta to Nashville took us through Chattanooga. The big tourist attraction here is Lookout Mountain where you can do a variety of activities. We chose Ruby Falls, an underground waterfall. To get there you take a lift 260 feet down and then walk half a mile through a cave. ... road. No local campsites and stealth spots can be time consuming. Decided to stay at a place called Brewstel. Sounds amazing: microbrewery/hostel. Unfortunately it turned out to be an ill attempt at a hostel. Felt like we were paying some dudes to crash in their appt for the night and they just happened to homebrew (nothing to currently offer though). Made a giant dinner.
