We got back at 6:30pm on Saturday 7/26. The last drive was a lot easier than we thought it would be and we made great time! According to google it's a 9 hour drive straight through and we made it in 10! Only 3 stops which certainly felt like our most efficient drive :-)

So here are some trip stats / facts:

Think that's enough for one post, onto Vegas ...

... the air, fresh from the park next door! How very considerate of them!

On our walk back past the Blues, we passed many of the little food stalls Austin is also known for. Little food trucks and street side food vans converted into eateries. Its really quite a funky city. Being radical seems to be the cities motto!

Our Taxi ride home, took us past a great little neighbourhood of old houses which have been converted into restaurants. All of the houses you ...

... had never eaten anything like it before in our lives, a super sweet thick syrup with delicious cinnamon oozing out of all sides. We did a bit of shopping and ate some amazing Chicken and cheese wrapped in Jalapeņos and amazing single serve Nachos. Costing a total of $10. Still cannot get over how cheap food is in America!!!! We continued on our shopping spree and ended up walking 14ks in total. Our feet were not impressed, especially after walking all day in ...
