    For the second year in a row we travelled just under 6,000 miles to reach Melbourne Beach.

    The highlights were .........

    BOISE, Idaho
    Stopped-off again to visit the War Hawk Air Museum in Nampa. This time we visited Don of Sue and Don Paul, longtime friends of Morgan. He is a real character and storyteller.

    ... low price of $90US. I instantly put on my bargaining cap and talked him down to $55...woohoo!!! I checked out the ruins, got to do some tequila tasting, then made my way to a couple beaches.     Despite the fact that we didn't have a wild, bar-hopping, out-'til-2am night in Austin, we reveled in the fact that we got to revisit three of our favorite Austin spots in the span of about 2 hours. The next morning, we followed things up with a stop at our favorite breakfast taco joint, Mi Victoria Bakery. After stuffing our faces with $1.50 breakfast tacos, we hit the road for another 8 hours across Texas, towards El Paso. See you there!

The people working at the hostel that evening came in, laughed for a bit, took a bunch of photos on their phones, and then spent the next two hours clumsily nailing it back up again with a nice big black tarp underneath so that the leaking roof wouldn't leak as much any more.
