    This morning I was awake early so googled things to do and see in austin. Brad woke up with a bad cold this morning. Had breakfast down stairs at the restaurant. After breakfast we went back to the room and booked a hire car and a night on a ranch in Bandera.     ... impressed and so was Les, just goes to show you that my reading yesterday at The Alamo has paid off big style.

    Stopped in a pretty nice beer pub called the Ginger Man and finished the evening in a Jazz bar which was opposite out hotel. Not normally my kind of music but with a couple of tasty cocktails in my system in didn't sound half bad. After the show we got chatting with the musicians and ended up having a much later night than originally planned.

    I normally take lots of pictures, however I only took around 30 during those 2 festival days (a new record for little picture taking for me :-)). But watching and listening to music was so much more fun.

    Today I listened to "Sons of Fathers" and they are soooooooooooooooooooooooo good. I highly recommend that band - you can also find it on youtube.
