... to St Louis. Taking the old Route 66, route 4 turn off at Carlinville. It was easy to follow the route with the signs directing us. The sat nav kept trying to turn us around and take us in another direction. We followed Route 66 until route 4 changed into 157 at Worden and we carried on to Edwardsville and thru all the way into St Louis, until getting on the interstate 270 which took us over the 'chain of rocks canal', shortly followed by the 'Mississippi ...
