There is a museum inside, and it is free. The Lewis & Clark expedition museum, and the movie that they show is great. They have a store with St. Louis souvenirs and a candy shop. ... yet modern feel of it. I think it is the combination of brick and steel construction that gives it this feel. Too much concrete, like Miami, tends to distract from the atmosphere I like to experience at a game. Out front of the stadium is a group of small statues honoring past Cardinal legends. ... this experience unusually cool. We headed underground to it's museum, mmmeeh, it explained a bit of the history behind the arch, was full of stuffed things, and the layout was kind of unique, and the timeline worked in a spiral as you walked round the exhibit. We arrived in St. Louis late on Saturday and on Sunday the sun was shining and it was a nice hot day so we went to forest park (the largest urban park in the country) and sat in the sun at the top of the art museum for a bit.
