    Etter 15 slitsomme timer på fly fikk vi endelig hentet leiebilene og sjekket inn på det første motellet.
    Kvelden vi kom ble brukt til å fylle magene etter mange timer med manglende flymat for en del av romlingene.
    Motellet, tross middels standard, var en velsignelse etter natten på Peppes etterfulgt av mange timer flyvning.

    Early start this morning, 5am and we only got in from the Rio at 12am. We checked out of Bellagio and said our farewell to the strip and headed for McCarran. Luckily the flight to L.A was only half an hour so we were in L.A for lunch. After finding a shuttle bus we began the longish trip from LAX to Loews Hotel. We are literally smack bang in the middle of everything in Hollywood which is great. We can see the sign from our hotel and the walk of fame is just across the block. ...

    Went to Universal Studios. Another hot day but majority of rides and shows were indoors. The Universal Studio tour was outside on a tram. We got taken through some street and other props that were used in movies. The Transformers ride broke down about a minute in so we got helped out of the ride and were given a free pass to come back when it was working. Glad we did cos the ride was awesome.     ... when we got there, then while she sang her daughters did the hula with drums and shakers etc. Then Larry sang for us too. Larry sang at the legendary Coco Palms from age 15 until it was destroyed in a hurricane. There were only about 20 people there, very intimate.
