But I was immediately reminded of the Beatles plea in “Imagine” for us to “imagine no possessions, greed or hunger.” Five gin and tonics usually puts me in a reflective, idealistic mood.

We left around midnight and returned home at 1 am after a scenic ride through the Hollywood Hills.

      La la in LA

... leg of her journey. After a pretty in eventful flight and not much sleep, Beaver arrived in LA (joy oh joy), but being the first off the plane meant I was first through customs and more importantly first in the queue for decent coffee at the Qantas lounge. Hooray! Only a short wait now till I board for New ...
