    ... shoes off, remove belt and empty all pockets at security. Luckily our pants did not fall down. So glad I took tucks in the waist for both of us. Waiting now for our flight to Chicago in a couple of hours. wes is off looking for something to take with us to eat. No free food on American domestic flights.More later when we get to Chicago.

    ... to see the Grand Canyon - very impressive. When I picked up my bags the lock on my smaller bag had been cut off and there was a note inside to say that it had been searched.     ... were only 2 guys working out. The walkway was crowded but the people watching was great. We caught the hop-on-hop-off bus again and disembarked at Santa Monica Pier. It's more like a side show alley than a regular pier, even though there were many locals fishing from the end. And people, the beach was crowded and even though the water was cold there were plenty of locals swimming.
