Another long day of driving eastward toward Maryland found us doing the "drive by shooting" routine. Driving from Kansas to Indiana found us passing through Kansas City and St. Louis. crossing the Missouri River twice and the Mississippi River, passing by the KC Royal's stadium and Gateway Arch in St. Louis and seeing another cross larger than the one in Texas.
Tonight we're staying in the Alpha Psi chapter house of Pi Kappa Phi. This place is huge! The whole house houses over 100 brothers and is well over three times the size of the WSU chapter house. ... where John did two performances for two different groups of school kids. It was his first time performing in a gymnasium and the program he had written worked well for a large room of noisy kids. Haha.
After that, we went back to the RV and relaxed for awhile. We weren't sure at that point what was going on in Oxford (and we weren't able to find a place near that town to stay overnight), so we opted for a drive to Lafayette, IN to stay in their Walmart's parking lot.
