... There is only one place in town and they run a great operation. They even gave us $10 off each of our kids because they were under five. I recommend wearing that patch again because you will be standing on the barge for a while. Another alternative if you can't get ahold of the patch is Bonine. This is a chewable pill but doesn't make you tired like dramamine and you can give it to young children, which I did! I don't need any surprises. ...

... so we decided to go for another bike ride (in the opposite direction) today along the beachfront to the Manhattan Beach area. We went for a walk out on the Manhattan Beach pier - a lot of the beaches have piers here, I just love them. This one had a cafe and an aquarium on the pier but neither were open. We went to see Graumans Chinese Theatre and hand prints of the stars, this was nice for a few minutes until the hoards of people became too much for us, we wandered further along the boulevard occasionally stopping in one of the many 'tat' shops.
We are about to have our final meal in the States and then we will begin our journey back to British soil.
