... but eventually we found "The Slab Wall." To get to it we had to head down the "obvious gully." Obvious it was. There was knotted ropes tied to the trees so climbers could safely ease themselves down the opening, that was pretty sweet. When we got to the bottom there was a group of boys scouts on all of the easy routes. This was Kenzie and Luke's first time out so we didn't want to go too hard. ... to find Anna Ruby Falls but drove right past and ended up north along Rte 356. So we had to swing around through Lake Burton ...a very pretty long lake with many fingers of land so lots of coves.. Would be great for a kayak or canoe. We then drove alone the arussell-Brasstown Scenic Byway to Brasstown Bald...the top of the highest mountain in Georgia at 4700 ft. We took a shuttle to the top and checked out the vistas. You can see 4 states...Georgia, Tennessee, North ...

Today started out cloudy and gray with a bit of rain....we started out touring the Univ. Georgia and then took a country road via Danielsville to Tococca and Tullulah Falls Sate Park. Trying to find a nice place for a latte/Cappacino we were recommended to go to Clayton by the park ranger to go to Clayton which is a few more miles north up Hwy 17.. There we found a very cute coffee shop called Grapes and Beans and had a wonderful Lattee and K+I had cappuccinos . We then ...
