Look at this beautiful town. The square has the county courthouse in the middle and shops running along the four streets surrounding the building. 3 bookstores on these 4 streets. You can tell this is a university town.
Our reason for stopping in Oxford was to visit Rowan Oak, home of William Faulkner. His home is close enough to walk to the square but feels like it is out in the countryside. Lovely, serene.
