... RV Resort in Lake City are very nice. The lady checking in was accommodating and the gentleman that escorted me to my spot was very helpful. I had never been in a campground where the spots were staggered. It made for spacious spots and easy to pull out of.

I didn't go out to eat, but fixed my dinner at home, watched a little TV, ...

Monday 17 to Saturday 22 August

A delayed start due to storms along the coast south of Charleston, we spent the day at the FBO before finally deciding we weren't going to get away that day. Caroline at the FBO very kindly sorted out local accommodation and a car – thank you!

... I could make it further, see pic. There were no CBs, but the clouds were down to 1200 to 1500 feet. After reaching 24J, I continued to Lake City, LCQ, and almost turned around, but the clouds lifted again. I finally saw Flying Tiger, and landed straight in on 18. Although it was drizzling, the visibility stayed good under the clouds.

It was a long day but felt good to be home. Overall, what a trip!

... did not set their alarms, I am pretty sure your car and my car, ....are safe without the alarm on also!!! I was nice and did not say anything....but....only by about 2 minutes time!
