Leaving Miami. All Packed. Ready to go. We drove from Miami to Lake City. A little over 400 miles and 4 Superchargers. The charging wasn't bad and was located where and when I needed to stop anyway for food and breaks. Diesel was great and seems to be very happy traveling. He left his mark everywhere!! The weather wasn't the best and some of the rain was really heavy but overall a pretty good ...

... the West. Unfortunately we are still waiting to get our certificate, so we do not know if we will be able to do much working on this trip. Will let you know as we travel.
We have God, food, home and puppies, who could ask for more! We will miss everyone, but this is on Randy's bucket-list so we are on the road again!

Three days drive to New Orleans. Slept last night in Naples, then drove past Venice! Dry and sunny.

Endless driving on open 2 or 3 lane motor ways, through green country. This Interstate was one of the network of roads started by Eisenhower in the the mid-50s and completed 35 years later . Regular stops for a hundred varieties of fast food, fuel and lodging. Only time we got held up ...

After 3 days at the hot and sweaty Wanee festival, way down on the Suwannee river, the music of the Allman Brothers is alive and well. The band founded the festival here years ago. AB may not exist any more, following their farewell gigs in New York last November, but the band members are mostly here with their own bands, and still playing ...
