Travel and tasks

A travel blog entry by boomermaxwell

Uneventful travel. Drove to Newcastle, flew via Heathrow to Arlanda, train via Stockholm to Orebro. Met by our great friend David, again. He took us out to Tim and Susie's to collect the Boomer. All in daylight at 10.30 at night - it had been a long day as we were up at 5 a.m. UK time. Next day, mundane tasks to be ...

In the afternoon we went to the big shopping centre, highlight being Ikea! The only significant difference from Ikea in Brisbane is everything is written in ...

... Stugor in Kristinehamn. Had we known that reception closed at 1600, we might have put our foot down a tad. No matter, we were checked in just in time. Cost is £16 a night, although we had to purchase a Swedish camping card for £15 because not all Swedish campsites recognise the International one. (Why not? Don't ask me!) We are camped overlooking the lake. A lot of the facilities, like the cafe/restaurant are not yet open and one of the sanitary blocks is ...
