... amazing!). We stopped by an In-N-Out Burger (our first of the trip, my first ever, and JT’s first recollectable ever – although his dad ensured us that he had been before), and it was very tasty! I had a vanilla shake and fries (I didn’t know they would make grilled chesses at that point), and JT had a double-double burger with fries. We finally retired to the Good Night Inn near Thousand Oaks for the evening.

The supermarkets have a good range but the prices also vary quite a bit, went to nearers supermarket to us which was the nicest supermarket I've ever seen but was super expensive, probably because they had three people serving at every check out, one to unload he basket/ttrolley, one to scan items and one to pack the items into bags... crazy and sooo unnecessary! Well, today was LONGER. 10:00 am: Krista picks me up the hotel to head to NBC studios 10:30 am: Meeting "the crew" at NBC - awesome people. Got some quick measurements done (ok, not so quick - like 30 of them!) See the writer's strikers standing in the way of cars trying to get on the lot. 11:30 am-12:30 pm: Blow time at Borders with Krista. We would have gone to lunch, but I couldn't eat before my medical. What the...the lovely emergency door that I am in front of has that slide folded up and compacted behind me so my chair moved about a centimeter backwards. I was prepared to live with it until the seat in front of me reclined - nope, not going to do this! I ask the flight attendant if the plane was full. She mentions to me that it is pretty full. I tell her that my seat cannot recline. She menitons "that's because of the emergency ...

... beach (right by our hostel) to Santa Monica pier. The bodybuilders at Muscle beach certainly live up to expectations - they have muscles in places where we don't even have places! Muscle beach is a hive of activity with not only the famous beach gym, but also many well used tennis, basketball, volleyball and hand-squash courts and equally as many spectators as participants. One of my favorite times a year is working with the Pasadena Tournament of Roses as a Whitesuiter putting on the Rose Parade and Rose Bowl.
