Today was absolutely beautiful in Springfield; sunny and high 70s. The show only ran to 2:00 so we were able to get on the road pretty quickly. Got home just after 5:00.
Walked around the city a bit more this morning and checked out the State Capital building-very cool.

OK we are finally figured out what happened. Let's just say long story short noone knows where to go to get on the plane since they changed the gate and nobody bothered to make sure everyone is aware of the situation, and it was not easy to find anyone from United. Now that I thought about it, I don't even know why I didn't take Southwest to Buffalo instead and just drive to Toronto.

Anyway, I will avoid other airlines as much as I can.

... staying in, I immediately took a shower and then took a nap. Another bad idea, because when I tried to walk, my muscles collectively gave me the finger. But, I fought **********d the soreness to make it to the pub. After all, it was March 17 and I am a third Irish, you know St. Patrick's Day. Alcohol dampened the pain, which was good. The cigarettes probably weren't the best solution either, but they felt good. The day was done and I was able to wake the next day in New Zealand.
