We raced into the city (with a sense of déjà vu), found some parking and ran to the Columbia Centre. 3 escalators and 2 lifts later (which were so rapid we felt the g-force) we were on the 73rd floor looking at the city and the surrounding landscape for a great many miles around. It was a long way up!

We went to a wine and hors d'oeuvre tasting and were pleasantly surprised to arrive about a minute late and find we were the first. The venue never got crowded and there was plenty of extra wine shared. A very enjoyable Seattle experience.

Historical Traveler Reviews Ramada Inn & Suites Sea Tac Airport SeaTac
Never again!!
We stayed at this hotel last weekend as we had an early flight to catch on Saturday morning. I could not wait to leave this dump! As a matter of fact, we left 2 hours earlier than we needed to, just because I couldn't wait to get out of the filth! My 14 year old and I had booked a room with 2 beds, only to find out that those rooms were gone and we had to stay in a room with 1 bed. The staff did provide a roll-away, for a mere 20.00, although the price listed was 10.00 and in all actuality, should have not been a charge at all since we booked and paid for a double room! The room was dirty, hairs all over the shower, no remote for the tv. Hallways had a terrible stench, walls were grimy in hallways as well in room. I would think that this hotel would have a little more pride. Also, very noisy, not due to planes, but the clientelle/people who were hanging out in the parking lot during all hours of the night!
Do yourself a favor and don't stay here, we would have been better off to camp out at the airport!
Not Impressed
I booked this hotel over the internet and was very disappointed. The room was not very clean, and there were tiles missing in the bathroom. Although the room was booked for 3, we had to ask for extra towels for the two nights we stayed. We waited over an hour for towels, and when they arrived they were rags. The entry from the parking lot was not at all attractive. I felt like I was going into an entrance for deliveries-not guests. I would not have felt safe if I was alone. The hallway rugs and wall swere dirty. I would think that Ramada would want to keep up a hotel near an airport even though most people are passing through. I often stay two nights near an airport because it is easier when arriving and departing. I will never stay at a Ramada after this visit.
Hated the Seatac Ramada Inn and Suites
Just returned from a four-night stay at the Ramada hotel located at: 16720 INTERNATIONAL BLVD, Seatac, WA 98188. It was the worst Ramada I have ever stayed at-no, it was the worst hotel I have ever stayed. The pool was filthy, had blood and dead mosquitoes in the showers and hair all over the floors. I would expect a public pool in Los Angeles or New York City to be filthy, but not a hotel pool. There was a shortage of pool towels every night. Plus the clorination was extreme in the pool. Even with all the chlorination, I caught a very bad virus and was sick coughing and congested for the next two weeks. No, I can't say for sure it was from the hotel, but I can say I was not sick before I arrived.
I was extremely disappointed. One light bulb was burned out in our room, and tiles were missing on the bathroom floor. The staff was helpful enough, but I thought the rules they had to follow were quite silly. For example, I was told that I could not make calls from the pool as it was for emergencies only. I only called my room to make sure my husband knew I was at the pool.
I would not have stayed--but did because the room was already paid for, and I didn't want to disappoint my two children and go home, as we did not budget for another hotel.
I would rate this Ramada with one-half of a star, if that. Couldn't wait to leave. The pillows had no 'fluff' at all they were entirely flat. The television set had some problems as well-it flickered, buzzed, and turned faces green at random. The art on the walls was amateurish and very bad.
The staff knew that the occupancy of the room was 2 adults and 2 children. There was never enough towels provided for regular bathing needs.
The restaurants listed in the room book was outdated, one did not even exist. The room book had scribbles all over it. There was no phone book in the room.
I would not stay there again, and feel sorry for those that do stay there. The planes passing overhead was not a bother at all, in fact, it was a comforting sound, as I knew those folks were going somewhere, and hopefully to a better hotel than the one I was staying at.
Beware! Thieves and dirty rooms!
I booked this hotel for an overnight stay before an early morning flight. We stayed August 14, 2004. When we got there we had to wait in a very long line of people shuttled over from another hotel that had overbooked. When we finally got to the desk, all they had left was smoking rooms. The stench assaulted us as soon as the extremely slow elevator opened its doors. The room was only surface clean. There were hairs in the bathroom and food around the edges of the carpet. One window wouldn't shut because they had a rope stuck out it to hold up a banner in front of the hotel. We we only going to be there about 12 hours so we stayed. We booked this "hotel" for $91.00/night. At 4am when we checked out, we were charged $171.00!!! The desk clerk refused to honor the internet reservation and stated only the manager could change the charges. I refused to sign the bill and left. The "manager" is never available when I have called nor does she return my calls. I have reported this THEFT to my credit card company as well as reporting the hotel to the Better Business Bureau. This place is not worth staying at, period. So far, the issue remains unresolved 6 weeks later. I will never, ever, ever stay at this or any other Ramada again!
Poor Value
My wife and I stayed at the subject hotel on 8/21/04. We were initially assigned a room that was occupied. Our reassigned room was missing window screens, was dirty, and had am open window during a rain storm. When we complained to the manager we were offered a 50% off coupon at the same hotel! We paid approximately $100 for our room that was worth about $30!
A great place to rest your weary head!
I recently spent four nights at the Ramada Suites Seatac. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms where very clean and extremely spacious. The AC/heater worked like a charm, and the bathrooms were very spacious with lots of mirror and shelf space. The pool was a tad smaller then I expected, and the exercise room was adequate. I especially enjoyed the Asian restaurant downstairs, the food was delicious, affordable, and convenient. If you are looking for an affordable hotel room, look no further! It also offers a shuttle bus to the Seattle Airport, and Pike Place Market Downtown. Very Convenient!!!
Perfectly fine visit
Stayed at the Ramada from 7/22-7/24. The room was clean, the A/C worked, and the Asian restaurant downstairs was suprisingly very good. I slept soundly despite the proximity to the airport and large number of other guests. Would stay here again.
Nastiest place on earth--and lots of stupid extra charges
This is the most disgusting hotel I've ever stayed in (and I travel a lot). The bathroom was filthy--feces stains, pubic hairs, mold, etc. The bedroom was nearly as bad. Uneaten food had actually been left in the room. The entire place smelled bad. The hotel had the audacity to charge extra for inroom safe and "environmental charges"--ie, washing the sheets, when I seriously doubt that they had washed the sheets. The management was rude when I complained about the filth and the extra charges. Never stay here. I cancelled my reservation for the return trip and stayed at the Red Roof in Sea-Tac, which is cheaper and far far cleaner.
Never written a review, but felt a duty to other travelers
Please consider this a warning to other travelers! This hotel had to be the worst we have ever stayed in. The stairway exits were filthy - cigarette butts and garbage littered everywhere. The rooms - don't know when they vacuumed under edges of beds, under tables/chairs and around perimeter of room. The tub's taps, etc. were built up with soap film and who knows what else. The toilet was filthy around the base and floor. "stuff" splashed on back of bathroom door. There were only 2 towels in the bathroom when we arrived. Requested extras 3 times and finally we had to go down to the desk to pick them up ourselves. We were told there would be an extra charge for our 3rd child, yet in the room's hotel directory it indicated that children staying in same room with parents were free. The "deluxe" continental breakfast was anything but, worst one we've seen yet and we've been in a lot. We recommend stay somewhere else!
Dust Bunnies live here!
Just recently stayed at the Ramada on International Blvd in SeaTac. Thought the hotel looked great on the outside and it only being a year and a half old it would be a great hotel to stay at. Was I wrong. I should have ran when I witnessed the rudeness of the front desk clerk, but I figured she had just had a bad day. We got into the room and found not only were there coffee stains all over the bathroom floor, but the soap was used. Upon proceeding to the bed area, I noticed toe clippings and dust bunnies on the floor. When I called the girl at the front desk to say I think they forgot to clean the room, nothing was done. She said that it was cleaned.
