Yesterday was our last full day in Orlando. We started off the morning with a swim in the lazy river and pool. We had lunch at the hotel and spent the afternoon doing the last bit of shopping for souvenirs. This trip was all about making new memories. We had lots of fun hanging out by the pool, riding the rides and taking the time to reconnect away from our busy lives. We live by the motto "work hard, play hard" and I hope the kids will always remember this trip for years to ...

We spent the day at Universal Studios and it was great fun. Even though the schools in US are all back, there was a constant flow and queues to contend with. We tried as much as we could and it was great - alot of firsts with the rides and Phoebe and Lauren had their first rollercoaster ride! Exciting! It was evident they were having a ball and just enjoying the rides. A few ...

... just a couple of the resorts they realised the enormity that is Disney. A power walk to the back of the park to try the new ride 7 dwarfs mine train but noooo it was 'offline' (glorified word for broken down) & everyone was doing a mad scramble to alternative rides. We went to Peter Pan, where the 10 min wait spiked to 30. I know after the cold winter we've had I said I wouldn't complain about the heat but ...
