Today was a day of endless travel. We had breakfast at the only place in town; A&W Rootbeer.
Then we drove back across Nebraska and Iowa and honestly can't remember a single thing from the drive except for the observation that Nebraska really does have the best rest areas.

... More duck tape to the rescue. I wish I had a picture of a train that was passing by us at one point and it was the Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Train heading to another destination. We have seen a lot of road kill along the way. Mostly raccoons, foxes and squirrels. If you run over a white squirrel you could be fined $500. I don't know how they enforce that law. ... and Sunbury, OH. However, after it hooks up with I-72, I am taking the interstate only to make time. I do prefer the secondary roads.
Since my trip is nearing the end, I decided to live large and get a microwave dinner at the WalMart next to the motel, WooHoo!

... This time, it was impossible to open, with the handle just flapping and doing nothing. I tried everything I could think of, for literally hours. I was at a disadvantage as my tools were in that compartment. Finally I drove a kitchen knife between the door and the inside plate and it opened. I then traded that lock for one that is hardly ever used, after tightening it all up. It was a pain but all working again.
Leaving tomorrow. Should make it to Iowa.
Went to bingo and won twice. Spent some time at the pool with Erin and Jared. Brandon wandered around with Charlie. We spent the day fishing and Jared caught two fish without bait. We saw a couple of snakes swimming in the lake. The boys were fascinated. Erin is addicted to fishing and ...
How has this hotel rated in the past?

This was just a way station on our way back home. The room was pretty generic, but there was one memorable thing about this place, they have a water part, which was included in our room cost.
