Next stop was Weston to find the Weston Wine Co. The owner of this winery is also the owner of the Jowler Winery. He was there to pour our wine. We also found out that his wife was the one pouring our wine at Jowler. They keep it in the family.

Bell Hall (the center piece of the Fort and the building where CAS3 and CGSC classes were held) had been torn down and the Lewis and Clark Center had been constructed - a huge multi winged building! Also, the old Disciplinary Barracks (the Army's Penitentiary) has been replaced with a new facility. The old facility is now office space.

... wind in my face all day but I pushed on and made it to where we were hoping to go. It was the first hot day I've had the entire trip and I ended up shedding a few layers of clothes. Had a late lunch at Sweetie Pies in St Louis. Excellent soul food! The fried chicken was amazing - and that's saying something from someone who isn't a big fan of fried chicken.

This was just a way station on our way back home. The room was pretty generic, but there was one memorable thing about this place, they have a water part, which was included in our room cost.
