Another fun filled, long day.
We r up super early today. Heading out for B-fast. Weather is good.
First stop Top of the Rock. I end up forgetting our admissions pass. Luckily I checked prior to getting in line and our hotel is not far from Rockefeller bldg either. So we head back and return with tiks this time. So much for being there on super early.

... and continued on her way. We also watched a guide dog guiding a sight-impaired person on the subway – these dogs are special anyway, but to watch him guiding her through the craziness that is the subway was very impressive.

Heading to NY
... injection. First in-flight. Not too bad. Landing in New York, we brace ourselves for a long slow passport and security control. The last few times we have arrived in the US, the process has been tortuously slow. Today we are surprised. We keep being waved to shorter and shorter queues. Suddenly, it is as if we have jumped to the front of the queue. We are checked, finger printed and released. That was amazing. We even got a smile and a genuine welcome to the USA. Bag ...
The Big Apple
To get the the San Diego Airpotrt, we snagged an airport drop-off and pick-up service on Groupon to make our early morning travels a little easier. Our driver told us he is the "new" "Chewbacca" for Lucas films. He does appearances, shows, etc. because the original is now 70 years old and not in good health. He did the noise for us and it scared the "Bee-Jesus" out of everyone. What a commencement to our trip at 5am on the 5 ...
