Today is the last day of the Conference and our last full day in Atlanta. Drive to Orlando tomorrow to join the cruise on the 11th. I left the hotel early and caught the shuttle bus to the Martin Luther King Jnr Historic site. It included the Ebeneza Baptist Church that his father and he were ministers. The church was the centre of his civil rights work. His wife, after his assassination, took over and continued his amazing work for peace ...

The train was an experience.....a bit unnerving but all went well and I arrived at Lennox Mall! Another disappointment...all specialty, upmarket shops! Show me a KMart or Walmart! Through Arkansas and Mississippi we drove through farmland planted with corn, rice, and soybeans. It was a relaxing ride broken up by stops at a few antique shops including one that was previously an ...

... and memories that make it special. I had such a great time joking with my mom and reflecting on those awkward teenage years with my friend. This week begins my days of of appointments and goodbyes that all lead up to me leaving for Jordan. Running errands and picking up last minute items can be a little annoying, but I always like to have all of my stuff together!

Time just seems to be flying! Now I just hope that I'm all packed and ready when it's time to go.
