Well it's over. Big delays flying out of Portland, but we are now in San Fran waiting for our flight. It's still a balmy 20 degrees outside and the sun is shinning with a gentle westerly breeze. The wreckage of the Korean Airlines 767 is still on ...
Set off for SFO at 9:30. My flight was schedule for 11:45 so I should have plenty of time. Just outside Milpitas, the traffic was very slow and became stationary. So the cab driver decided to bail from route 101 to the back roads. As we drove around, weirdly I noticed a lot of people stood on the roofs of building and high bridges. I asked the cab driver what was going on, he gave some lame response about probably fixing air con units. ...
... bar at the ShangriLa hotel in Sydney were only matched by the costs in Norway last year.
Booked two more trips for next year. In January, I'll be on a 10-day wine cruise to the Caribbean on Oceania's new ship, the Marina. Then on April 8, I'll be on a 7-day wine river cruise in Southern France. I'm not sure yet whether I'll accompany the group on the pre and post trips.

... ll see how that turns out haha! We got some cool pictures and saw Alcatraz and Golden Gate Bridge. Awesome! (And btw the prisoners who escaped, did NOT get eaten by freshwater sharks. Yes we googled that *****) Everybody was pretty tired of the flight and walking around so we decided to drive to our hotel, check in and go to get some sleep. Can’t wait for the coming week and to see more of SF!
