It's almost 10pm and finally, the plane is almost about to take off. For the first time ever, we are on a flight that is almost empty! I would say about 30% full or less. Feel sorry for those suckers who paid extra for Economy Comfort. We are seated in the middle section where there are 3 seats across. Will and Ashley have an empty seat between them and so do Matt and I. Should be a pretty comfortable 8 hr flight with plenty of room to stretch ...
... We made it to the hotel. The taxi ride was uneventful. I guess that cutting off buses is normal. I may need to wear a sleep mask when we head tomorrow. The hotel is lovely and smells good. Lots of marble and our room is huge! I am starting to get tired again which I guess is a good thing. We ordered some food and decided to go with a burger and quesadillas until my tummy gets on track. ... customs into America. There was definitely lots of hugs and catching up. It was 3pm and we hadn't had lunch yet, so the first stop was the Big Boy restaurant near our hotel which was pretty good. It was like fast food done in an old school diner way.
We just hung out in the hotel room for the rest of the evening and went for a little drive around the neighbourhood. We weren't really in the mood for doing much else, but we are going to have a great 5 weeks together!

I must admit, I found the tour to be a bit disappointing. The portion of the assembly plant you get to see is not very automated. They have robots that install windshields and check seams but, otherwise, it all seems to be done by hand.
