... completed my tour with the I & I staff in 1977, I worked for Major Campbell as a Marine Recruiter and NCOIC of the recruiting substation in Beaverton Oregon in 1978 and 1979. I was promoted to Gunnery Sergeant while on Recruiting Duty, and spent my last year as the Operations NCO for the Recruiting Station.

With a beautiful day that was in the 80s today, I can understand why so many people are snowbirds to Florida for the winter season. ...

... as soon as we boarded, so we dropped our carryons, and headed to Cagney's for lunch. Started with a Shrimp Cocktail, for Dad.

Our room was very spacious. and so was the balcony. There were 2 regular chairs, and a small cocktail type table, as well as 2 loungers on that balcony...score for us!
