Grand Canyon
... the East Gate. We made another couple of stops and marvelled at the wonder that is the Grand Canyon. We ended up leaving the park well after 3pm. Even after we left the park boundaries there were fabulous canyon views. We reached Flagstaff again around 5:30, packed up our gear and moved straight on to Sedona. Day 1

While hiking the trail, I found some really cool rocks. I climbed up there and got a picture of myself with it. What can I say, I love to climb!
Finally, I'm here at this hotel near my next destination for tomorrow morning. It's in Camp Verde, about an hour and thirty minutes away from Phoenix South Mountain Park.

Landing in Phoenix
... and we were ready to go. There was no traffic at all and we made really good time. The new ramp was open at 74 and 465 and it was a bit confusing but we easily got onto 465. Spring In Mesa AZ
... Chinese Church with Ying for Easter service, finished cleaning the floors, and then I went to the clubhouse for Easter Brunch. It was nice, lots of food! I sat by Lu Dutcher who is Greek and told me so many interesting things! Phil called and said the church was a great experience. We woke up early today at 6am so that we could make it to Phoenix in time to drop mom, dad, and Shannon off at the airport. We made it there by 9 so they were all good for their flight.
