      Today was to be a highlight of the trip for us. We planned to be at Bellingrath Gardens during the peak azalea time.       The museum is very well done. It discusses the history of the area, exploration by Europeans, and the eventual claiming of the area for Europe. The West Florida’s history, architecture, and archaeology and presented in well planned displays on the first level.
