... we stopped at Lulu Buffet's (Jimmy's sister) restaurant on the Inter Coastal Waterway (ICW). We were there with Kermit and Katherine from Good Karma. Great stop and fun atmosphere. Lessons from an Epic Adventure
... being in leopard country and not having a front or side door. Insane but too cool…like the whole trip!
There were only a few minor safari disappointments. We still have not seen our leopard in the wild. Several times we were close in Katavi. Second, I was surprised we saw no cheetah especially in Ruaha’s Serengeti Ndogo. Finally, I did see roan antelope but no sable. All of these species will be on our list for South Africa, Botswana, Zambia and Zimbabwe in 2013.
