We will post trip information here as soon as it starts. For 2010, we will continue planning the project and look for Sponsors that are willing to invest and support the Project. All indications in that regard is ...
Panama City, Florida, United States pamericas... a spot on the sand away from the kiddies and mullets...pretty good time.

Had a dolphin swim within 15 feet of me, probably due to our perfected dolphin and mermaid calls (I had nothing on Brad and Kat´s--but it worked).

We had no idea what we were getting into.

But this seems to be the only place on earth that serves Busch Beer in bottles--worth the price of admission.

Panama City Beach, Florida, United States lexicon.... I relish the sunshine and the brightness that comes with it. In this northern Florida panhandle we have miles and miles of the world's whitest beaches, a bay and the Gulf of Mexico that are the seat of all the recreation. The Panama City Beach area is referred to as the Emerald Coast because of the crystal green waters. Rae, my friend from Germany who is now in North Carolina, visited for a weekend. That was a highlight to ...
Panama City,, Florida, United States francie... sand, Clark returned a relaxed, happy man. Meanwhile, Beth, son Lee, and friend had arrived from Atlanta and the party was on at "The Beach Box"! We hadn't seen them since the '96 Atlanta Olympics and we had such a very good time catching up. The kids all had a good time flying up and down Shark Street, Venture Boulevard, Gulf Drive and the other cart pathways connecting the 700 manufactured homes in this mini metropolis ...
Panama City, Florida, United States eightydaze... the boat and sailing it to the pier at the condo. Then it's a calm fishing day. Except, the first boat's motor catches on fire, out in the water. The only replacement is a pontoon, which isn't the best for casting. But nothing stops dedicated fishermen/women. There's enough fish for dinner! No suprise.
Panama City, Florida, United States kupdegraTo say my family lives for fishing is an understatement. Mom's father Lew Wright lived on the trout stream. When we were old enough to be "papoosed" on his back, we were out hiking and fishing. Not that we remember any of it at that age. Lew was well known in Western Pennsylvania for his fishing skills. He retired early from Alcoa ...
Panama City, Florida, United States kupdegra... so he bought it and drove it back to PJ's. We took almost another month to install, change, add-on or do whatever else was needed to suit our needs. PJ's son Billy came down from Indiana for a visit and he did a lot of the work, like installing all the satellite, TV, and electrical stuff. It's a 35' Tiffin Allegro Bus (3 feet shorter than the Dynasty) and has less storage room, however ...
Vernon, Florida, United States chictravelers2As usual I wasted no time in getting off to work. I think I was on a plane heading for the East coast 28 hours after graduation, and I had no intention on being back in time to move out of my house on Aug 1st. I'm not really sure how that one's going to work out as I'm writing this, but fast forward in my blog and find out. My first assignment was to go to Panama City, FL to train the Army Divers on how to ...
Panama City, Florida, United States tbassplayerWhen we left Brownsville, we headed back east to Perry, GA for a big FMCA RV Rally. Along the way, we connected with our friends Bev and Wynn in Styx River for a couple of days. The FMCA rally was very good and had a lot of worthwhile information and entertainment. After the rally, we worked our way back to our friend PJ's 'farm' in Vernon, FL just north of Panama City in the Florida Panhandle. PJ had bought a reservations service from me, on the island of Maui, several years ago ...
Vernon, Florida, United States chictravelers2After a pleasant week on the Gulf Shore, we headed for Florida. Then a few miles later, just after we crossed the border into Florida, we barely escaped having a bad accident with a cement truck! We don't know if the truck driver dropped something, or what, but he crossed about 5'-6' over the double yellow line into our lane right in front of us! Terry leaned on the horn and pulled over as far to the right as he could (it was a narrow road with no shoulder due to ...
