Started the day by going to church. Their pastor is on vacation so the Liturgist/Choir
director delivered the message. He was pretty good, but they didn't have communion on this first Sunday. Of course I went to the early service, so they may have had it at the late service.

Did a load of dark clothes (love that washer). Watched everyone else leave. Think there are only about 10 of us left here for the night. Everyone was talking about the storms coming in, but we've ...

... it was just how well the rider handled the horse and followed the commands. All they did was walk around the arena, trot when told, turn when told and stop when told. Mostly we were just there to see the horses. There were some pretty ones. Some with long flowing tails and some had their tails braided. They had a buffet of which we decided to partake. Good down home country cooking, nothing fancy, by good. However, the bread stole the show. I don't know how they make their bread but it is by far the best bread I have ever eaten. We ended up buying a loaf to freeze and consume slowly over the next several weeks. ...

This is going to be short. The big story today has been the rain. Woke up about 4:30 this morning to a downpour as well as thunder and lightening. It continued to rain until about 11. It stopped for a while, but never fear, it began again, just showers this time.

Nothing about the rally started until 1pm, and then it was only the vendors opening, so we didn't miss anything. Finally about 2, the sun peeked through the clouds, but we both were dozing. I ...

... way to Canada. I'm wondering where the driver sleeps. I cannot imagine a FORETRAVEL having bunk beds.

We arrived in Sedalia about 2pm after driving through some very nice scenery, but the back roads of MO. I think Bob was starting to hear banjos playing before we arrived in Warsaw, MO.

I looked at our phones several times during the trip since yesterday apparently we were out of Sprint's range most of the day (in the wide open spaces of OK). ...
