... the hotel said it was just 500 meters but we off course took the wrong street and it ended up being 1km! Haha. Beer is all we could think about!
we Check into the hotel have showers and meet Missy, David, Heather and Shar.
we eat at a restauranr La Rosa dei Venti which was recommended to us by Guiseppe at the hotel.
11 for dinner which was a feast and it cost €196.

... we spent too much time moving and not enough time enjoying.. Sandy described it well, moving every 2-3 days is for tourists, we are travellers.

The time in the Loire valley was fabulous and we enjoyed having Marvin and Linda join us. The house was great and the hospitality amazing...even including a ride in their Daimler.

If only our friend on the phone from yesterday could have seen us last night. Arriving late into Milan, we found ourselves some back to back park benches in a triangular shaped park not far from the railway station. Salvaging some cardboard from a nearby fruit shop, we fashioned ourselves a thin mattress and slept under the stars, Wendy and I taking shifts to watch our packs as the kids slept. ... and then had a full amazing breakfast waiting for us complete with a traditional king cake which is eaten on January 6th. The person who finds the little plastic figurine of a king gets to wear the cardboard crown. We then went for a drive around the lake in Lugano and stopped in a little town called Morcote. This town was an old town with traditional cobble streets and looked over the lake. From here we were able to see where the Italy and Switzerland boarders meet. ...
