          ... at numerous lakes and peaceful spots. I hadn’t been behind the wheel for quite a while and this was a pretty nice place to see if I still knew how to drive. With our hair in the wind and our faces in the sun we cruised through this part of the Rockies until our stomachs started to make weird noises.           ... go walking around the gardens. Unfortunately we were singing pretty close to the time that we arrived, so we had to arrive dressed in our uniforms and then take a 15 minute walk through the blazing summer sun in our long hot dresses. The gardens are lovely, but not when you're draped in dark polyester. I felt bad for the men too who were in their tuxes. They at least gave us time to cool off in the shade for a bit.           ... Hill resort near Edmonton, the day when it was minus 30 degrees but beautifully sunny. In that such a cold day, hardly anybody wants to go out, nor skiing at all, so the ski hill was practically empty. However, we did ski , and we enjoyed it very much. It was cold, I admit, but it was really worth the few hours endurance.
