The temperature for the drive today was pretty pleasant...high 60's at the beginning of the day and about 85 at 5:00 when we arrived in Kalispell, MT about 20 miles from West Glacier.

We even saw the Boisvert Camp on Lake McGregor, a large beautiful lake surrounded by, yet again, tall pines, and little else. (For those who do not know, Boisvert was my name before I married Steve.) Those French Canadians are everywhere.

... some the pictures! After a long day in the sun (Red Bus has an open top) and crossing the border twice, we were very tired and went back to the cabin for a rest.
Our last night was particularly memorable because we were able to see a lot of wildlife. Our days always ended with trips out to Two Dog Flats to see the animals that come out of the forest to feed. This time we were able to see a Coyote, Elk, Moose, and a Grizzly Bear. Yeah, all of them!! ...
... a long lunch break in the Half Way Motel which has reports of bears in the garden. The lovely lady running the place tells us that it is far too early in the season for bears so we concentrate on the stunning humming birds just outside the window – there will be nothing grizzly in the bushes today.
