Today we stayed in Gladewater, Tx. We stayed in Shallow Creek RV Park which is absolutely one of the best RV Parks we have ever stayed at. It is so clean and neat and roomy! ... Those boys had to sit in a little vet's office with me and all the dogs and cats and owners for at least an hour. No complaints whatsoever! I can't recall the order that we did everything the rest of the week but we had fun! We hiked by the lake with Lola, explored Old Gladewater, read books, went antiquing, toured the museum, and went for a swim at Grandma's house! I must have worn them out because they were cranky at the end of the day.

... a little down home duck callin!

Along I-49, we rain in to some pretty serious storms with lots of lightening and strong winds. It was time to put both hands on the steering wheel for Nick and Stan. But we got through it and the smeared bugs on the windshield were washed away by the rain and wipers.

We're getting pretty good about fueling up at the truck stops now ...
