Sunday was our travel day and a nice drive down US 27 Alt South. We arrived at the Ocala Sun RV Resort about 1:30pm. The rest of the day was free to just relax. Monday was a busy day. ... up for it. Managed to snag a picture with Donald Duck in Mexico and Pooh and Tigger in England. I'm concerned that I'm getting way too excited around people dressed up as animals.

Completely knackered we left at 4pm, that's a whole 7 hours and 8 miles completed today.

We drove the two hours to Crystal River, checked into our hotel and grabbed a pizza at Rocco's.

Early start tomorrow. We are going to be Manatee tickling.

... get good manatee pictures but, I tried to capture the feelings and atmosphere of the early morning experience.

With the exception of the very first picture above, the pictures are posted in the order I took them. You are seeing the experience from my eyes. I took them on the way out and then not again until I was out of the water, shivering and shaking from being so cold. It was much colder getting out of the water than it was in wet suits in the water.

... scenic rest stop. We sat and enjoyed a luxurious Pollo Tropical meal here, waiting out the worst of the rain. It was good to eat food again. It grew dark and so we headed north on the tollway, past Tampa and into the spring-laden grounds to the north. We eventually stopped at Homosassa Springs, a town we've passed through many times.
