... The air here is about the thickness of water. With 90% humidity, everything is damp and our skin sticky. Sheree's hair has a natural afro but remarkably Ted's seems unaffected. It now occurs to us that maybe it’s us that is unaccustomed to rain and humidity and everyone else here just lives their lives. Who knew?

... Tracy managed to talk to every classmate there. She was too much of a social butterfly and is now on the committee organizing the next one. That will teach her. I had a great time and talked with several of the people I knew and got to know a few more. We were literally the last ones out the door.
