    ... it but my door won't open cause the coach is too wide. Jim goes through pulls over and I run back to get it. By this time there is no ticket!! To hell with it. Finally get to our exit, tell them we don't have the ticket so we have to pay the highest price which is 28.45. In the meantime Clarence and Fay have taken the wrong exit and are being re routed a different way, but that ok cause we both end up at the same place right?? We have ...

    ... pulled together and managed to work out the camper’s special quirks and find ways to deal with them. We also had the joy of dealing with 12 year old stubbornness and *****iness, young crushes and sometimes heart breaking stories about home. I think this encampment provided a great experience for both counselors and campers to understand other people’s differences.

    Now off to NYC for a well deserved encampment break! ...

    ... the bridge. We saw West Point and crossed the Bear Mountain bridge. The view was great.

    We were cruising down the mountain when we had our second flat. They we followed the mapped route through a horsefly haven. It was sandy and slow. We walked our bikes a bit until the bugs bit and had to get going.

    The heat really got going after lunch. We were dripping.

    Not only was today the day that we left Wal-Mart, it was also, finally, after months of build-up, the day of the 2008 Presidential Election.
