Vibrant city and home of excellent parks is located in United States of Washington which is known as emerald city. This city is also heart of all travelers who visited this. This city is also a part of my heart because I visited this city these summer holidays. I went there for enjoying holidays and for getting some moments of life. I went there with my friends because I always travel in group and our group is of five members. From our group no one travel alone and whenever we travel always t...

... all the busses and my map is already well worn. The weather is a little chilly, but still sunny at times and not bad when you’re walking around. After the museums I just walked the city some more and I’m really starting to get my bearings. Amsterdam is not a big city and once you get your bearings it’s really easy to get around. A couple of times I didn’t want to wait for the tram so I just walked back to the boat. It only took me ...
Seattle, Washington, United States fec... turistattraktion. Upp i Space Needle!
We left Toronto really early and flew over the Rockies to Seattle. Travis, Virginia's sister-in-law’s step brother (who we had met skiing a couple of year’s ago) came to meet us as we were going to be staying with them - Travis, Laura, Emma, McKenzie and Isaac at their house in Ballard, Seattle.
What was also exciting was that Carl (Virginia’s brother) and family were arriving from California in the afternoon and that we would all be together. We ...
... behind him could get through. It’s bad enough dealing with some of these rules (like, you can bring a four-inch scissors on board, with a sharp point, but you cannot carry on a Swiss Army knife with a one-inch blade. WTF?), but to try to understand them when you don’t even know the language? Yikes.
That was the last problem of the day. For a moment there we were seriously concerned about the two babies who were seated in the row in front of us, but the ...
... Her answer- "I tried to." We discussed how poorly written and boring it was. I remarked that it was a wonder that someone actually got through it and decided upon finishing it to make it in to a movie. I will have to rent the DVD and see if Hollywood was able to make it interesting, after all it did get nominated for an Academy Award. I gave up on the book and donated it to a library at one of the B & B's. (I have since spoken ...
Seattle, Washington, United States trockie... We arrived at the dingy coach station, and after walking along a strip that looked like one of the streets from 'Taxi Driver', picked the hotel that looked the least seedy (all windows intact? no guy sleeping in the doorway? thumbs up!). Early the next day we rapidly fled the red-light area in the direction the local youth hostel. The further we walked the nicer the city became, until we were eventually strolling past leafy parks and ...
Seattle, Washington, United States elsewhere... and in an effort to be healthy, shared a steamed veggie dish. Walking home we could not resist the sounds of a Hawaiian cover band at Ohana, a local bar on 1st. We ordered a beer, and ultimately a great strawberry and banana sorbet for dessert before we made our way home at around 11:30. For a few east coasters who had been up for almost 23 hours, we rallied pretty well. A great beginning to what will prove, I am sure, to be a great experience in Seattle.
Seattle, Washington, United States joeandfrannie... yellow ducky souvenir for his little sister and a key gizmo for his little brother, both with their names painted on. Refrigerator magnet for day, with Island sailboats in blue Island waters. Here's Dad. Bye Matt. I'm still giggling about Ricky Bobby.
Seattle, Washington, United States burtonll... I never figured that one out." "So were you on vacation or something?" I sighed, "No, not exactly." "Well, did you live there?" "Yeah, you could say that." She looked confused so I decided to share an honest moment with her. "I was homeless." "Really?" "Yeah," I said shamefully. "Where did you sleep?" "Ah, you know, on the beach, in the park, wherever I ended up." "What about when it rained?" "Then I usually went to the stairwells of the ...
