... rain gear, plus, water sandals, was a reminder of the incredible power of this 200' falls. The cloud of mist...more like rainfall with gale-wind forces was really experienced when on a 20-minute Maid of the Mist boat which took its passengers decked out in blue rain ponchos right up close and personal to both water falls. I had a bacon and egg sandwich and they do pretty good coffee so I was happy they are also open 24 hours so I think I may be gong back there ...

The Stogiemobile is gased up and ready to go and I plan to gain at least 5 lbs. and have an absolute blast! We are thankful for such an amazing opportunity and well deserved break ...

We continued our journey to the USA, backtracking almost to Montreal. One of the things I love about Quebec is the blend of French and English names of towns, something like St.Isidore de Grantham or St. Remi d'Amherst. My theory was that the name was a result of an agreement between the local priest and the town magistrate. Another thing I love about Quebec is the old stone farmhouses with the red tin roofs, and on occasion there is a horse statue on the roof. We ...
