To say I was staggered at the amount of historical, electricity driven items they have there and the quality of the museum, is an understatement - I came away both exhausted from viewing so much, and amazed. Their collection ...

      Artist Point – Canada!

Today, we went to this absolutely gorgeous string of rocky, craggy mountains around Mt. Baker. The place we went was called Artist Point, and it was in the middle of these huge and snow-covered mountains, with beautiful evergreen trees everywhere and a piney scent from heaven. Our next stop was Twin Falls, Idaho, on the Snake River. By this point, neither of us was thrilled about water, and Pop'ie has never been thrilled about water, so we just stayed in CC and did a wine tasting of our newly purchased wines. We decided that we like California wines better, so our next trip will be to Napa Valley. We plan go there by land and not by sea.

Today we went to Mount Baker, our last field trip of our stay abroad!

My hostmother asked if I wanted to bring a sled, but I thought that would be too much trouble.. That is the biggest mistake I could possibly make. I thought bringing warm clothes and a big lunch would be sufficient. Well, that proves I hadn't been to Mount Baker before.

When we saw Mount Baker out of the van, Ulli ...
