Det vart ett deal with it moment, jag visste jag var i luften, det var bara att andas o njuta. O soom jag njöt!!<br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br> Underbar utsikt, går inte att beskriva... Friday Harbor, Washington, United States josma... snacks at the co-op there. We brought back dinner from La Fiamma Wood Fire Pizza--I wouldn't recommend it, but I'm sure it would have tasted much better if we had eaten it right out of the oven instead of waiting to get back to the room and prepare salads. Watched episodes of Burn Notice and Royal Pains, then fell asleep to the sound of passing trains.<br><br><br>Title Language: Italian
Bellingham, Washington, United States lisajagmin... housing for long term visitors and security group. The weather in southern California has been glorious - sunny, clear and 80 degrees every day. Several deciduous trees have lost their leaves but the mountain sides have greened-up considerably. Every day we pick oranges, lemons, limes or grapefruits from the trees in our resort. Most of them are squeezed for the juice and saved for mix. Due to constraints regarding our travel ...
Bellingham, Washington, United States jimcabay... of Westport, WA. I got a speeding ticket 5 minutes before i was about to stop for the evening. I was cool to see this part of Washington. Logging is very heavy through this area but it seems to be controlled. Went to a hotsprings in the Olympic National Park. The first of 3 in a row!
Bellingham, Washington, United States dahandymn... em, TWO bookstores, a couple of pottery shops, a fine woodworking shop, a glass shop, etc. - and every other building seemed to house a cafe. A few blocks down is a port where people can catch a ferry to Alaska, the San Juan Islands, or Victoria. It turned out that the Farmers Market is in Fairhaven on Wednesday afternoons, so we hung around to see what the locals had to offer. It was a gorgeous day ...
Bellingham, Washington, United States mksquared... that were more than half the price, but the colors never matched and in the end I cut a third round of windows. We through bolted them to the outside of the boat with neoprene gaskets. it seamed to work at first, but they loosen with the seasons. This is an ongoing problem and we will need to find a solution eventually. My first hatches were made of pine routed off on the edges and strapped down. They lasted about a month and a half before the ...
Bellingham, Washington, United States engele... He apparently talked so much, they called him 'Gassy jack' and became known around those parts. There's a steam clock (yes a clock that shoots steam) but apart from that, it's a pretty touristy joint, lots of cheap shops selling maple syrup and ****** tshirts. I meandered back down to Canada place which is their exhibition centre in the shape of ships sales. There was lots of info about the shipping history of Vancouver plus lovely views ...
Vancouver, Canada aussiecaitlin... Sapa is shrouded in a thick blanket of fog, as it was when I arrived. Beautiful but limiting in its' own right, the fog lifted rapidly after two days, while I ran around the town snapping a copious number of shots. The sun/fog toyed with each other for about an hour, and I think I got few really nice pics. Later that day, I walked a short trek to the surrounding villages with a zany NYC couple. In short, the vistas of the surrounding rice paddies ...
Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada jorden... stations. I'm glad I wasn't there, but it doesn't mean i'm not thinking about you guys and everyone who witnessed what they did that day. This situation has really made me open my eyes and take stock of things. I'm so lucky to be alive, and so lucky to have this opportunity to be in Canada right now - I've realised that in the past few weeks, I've not taken advantage of my good ...
Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada emmab... here I am stuck in 1994 - people are still sporting mullets, and the fashion is so far behind that we've dubbed Van 'The City That Fashion Forsook'. One of my colleagues mentioned proudly to me that the 80's is coming into fashion - erm, wasn't that last year in the UK?? 4) You need a translator for some Canadianisms: Examples: 'You get out today?' - means 'I say, young lady, did you go to work or participate in a leisure activity today?' 'Eh' - used at the end of a sentence ...
