Tom Wiser wrote about Aberdeen Central's George Amundson in the A Look Back section of the December issue. We also featured in November the 2008 South Dakota Soccer Association's state tournament held in Aberdeen Oct. 9-11. Read the stories at www.sdhsathletes.com!
Aberdeen, South Dakota, United States sdathletes... I get back. To add to that: When I first arrived there in January last year, I could not believe how many people would ask me who I was voting for for president this year. They are just as, if not more (than some people) interested in our politics as we are! I found a huge appreciation for that and was reminded of the role our politics have in the rest of the world. So don't forget to vote, people!!! New Zealand only offers 1 year work ...
Britton, South Dakota, United States sarahteveldal... trip but its really two. Deb and I spend most of our time in France and then she leaves me behind in Nice. I'll make my way to Lyon, where I have a flight to Rome to meet my friend Scott P. (who has the nickname "Billy" from college days.) I just found travelpod so I thought I should get something posted just to see how it works.
Watertown, South Dakota, United States sshephardA drive all the way across South Dakota. Not much to see, except sign for "Polish Pottery" which promised great wonders once I had reached North Dakota. Stopped on the way to get some SD statehood quarters. When I got to North Dakota, it was closed. The only things open in Hankinson were the ...
Hankinson, North Dakota, United States mesdale... nuts warbling and calling, desert flowers are everywhere but you must get out of your car to see them. In the evening, the animals really come out, prairie dogs, coyotes, big horn sheep, rabbits, chipmunks, to name a few that I saw.
I met some nice people traveling around the Badlands, a couple of ladies came up to me and said that they'd seen me the day before at the Corn Palace in Mitchell - true enough.
Wall, SD - the ...

St.Paul/Minneapolis, United States andreaddWell, the big day is here! Belinda and I head out for our long trek to Gothenburg this evening after work. Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States larzstarz... river and the observation decks watching us, one guy was there with his wife and kids sitting talking to me as i climbed down and otoole lowered me my boat. the lower part was ~15 foot drop that, if you did it right, gave you enough speed to send you underwater for a while. we kept hiking back up with the boats and running it as everyone watched in awe. it seemed like they had never seen anything like it. the funny thing is there was a group ...
Sioux Falls, South Dakota, United States brettski... of the changes. We arrived at the airport and Grandma Theda, Grandma and Grandpa Trapp, and Aunt Theresa were all waiting for us. It is SO nice to be home. We had an amazing time in China, but it's incredible the things we take for granted at home. Like clear, blue skies and being able to drink water from the faucet. Included are some of the last ...
