We got up at 2:30 in the morning to start our EPIC road trip of a lifetime! Then we hit the road at 3:15 and it was smooth sailing to Chicago. Annalena had no problem sleeping for the majority of the drive, and the rest of the time she was happy and excited to be in the car. It was a great start to our trip.

... awning, which we feared would collapse if we didn’t do something. As we began to retract it the snow actually moved backwards and collected deeper in awning and thus caused it to sag even more. So I got on the picnic table and began wiping the snow off with a broom, as I was sliding across the table, while Lou retracted it very slowly. We got it in without any issues but learned an important lesson- DO NOT leave your awning out if there is a chance of snow.
