Our flight route back to the U.S. Was pretty much a reversal of the outbound trip, and we were fortunate enough to find clear weather along the entire route. A few building cumulus clouds here and there, but generally, nothing to get in our way. The view from the air over the Bahamas is amazing. The color of the water, the low ...

... life on the seas. Aunt Clodagh is now a thing of the past. Terrible name for a boat anyway.

We left the marina and turned towards the sea. A bit of a squirt of the throttle had us sitting comfortably on 6 knots at half revs, she is a quick boat. Cool!

December 21, 2012 - It's the first day of winter and the forecast for Stuart is for the temperature to be 39 degrees tomorrow morning! Yikes, where's my mittens! We've been keeping busy since arriving here. I'm in a water aerobics class 3 mornings each week and Denny is racing on Dave's 19 foot Cape Dory on Saturdays. He went fishing in the Atlantic on Dave's fishing boat and caught a beautiful Mahi Mahi on Wednesday. It ...

... at Orchid Bay Marina in Great Guana at a reduced rate and again at the Leeward Yacht Club on Green Turtle Cay where we re-provisioned for the trip back to Florida. It was a very windy winter/spring. We got a work out and so did Savage II. It was an ambitious agenda this year, but we did it and met many new friends along the way. Thank you Kathy & Stan from Vespera for guiding us and showing us so many of your favorite spots.

We arrived in Indiantown on October 26 after stopping to visit family in Michigan and then the Condens in Nokomis FL. We scheduled the boat to be moved from storage to the work area where for $20 a day we could live aboard while the boat is on the hard. We stayed for 3 days with Paul & Linda LeDoux from Seahawk in their new condo in Stuart. They sold Seahawk this past spring and moved ashore. We thank you both for all ...
