      ... to themanufacturer we finaly get told we have to spend more money to get a better transducer. Cant say i am very happy with hawkeye or norcros.
      new transduce arrives tomorow.
      Weather has been lousy for the crossing to the Bahamas. Going to have to wait for a window to get accross. Nice and warm mostly. Still shorts and tshirt temps at sunrise. Cant complain.

      After 3 weeks and 2 days of cleaning, removing mildew & mold, Den painted the bottom and washed and waxed the hull, he sanded all teak boards in the cockpit and I varnished them with 9 coats. The dingy was washed and hung on the davits and we splashed on Tuesday, Nov. 27th and left Indiantown on Thursday, Nov 29th and are now at Loggerhead Marina where we'll stay until we leave for the Abacos after the 1st of the year.       ... leave here at 3 pm and sail non-stop and arrive at the St. Lucie inlet near Stuart at 9 a.m. We asked before we left if anyone had an updated Chris Parker forecast but no one did. One sailor did have a current NOAA marine forecast for the stream, which was SE-5-10 with 2-3' seas through Saturday and then increasing. So we left at 3 pm and motor sailed all afternoon and at 11:30 pm we were off the Bahama Banks and in the Gulf Stream and the weather was not what ...
