First stop Jellystone RV Park, Cave City, KY.
Not many campers in campground so where
do they put us, right next to another camper. Called office and they told we could move to any other site just let them know where we moved to.
Not a bad campground, kind of hilly but lots of room to move around.
Drove 383 miles today.
... to the interstate
The worst part of this trip is north of Indy when we leave the interstate and take Route 31. Last year it was under construction and this year it still is with bumpy roads and traffic lights at every intersection but we finally made it.
It’s been a great weekend with my family. We stomped around Lost River Caverns, went to the Farmers’ Market, to a t-ball game (can we talk about how entertaining t-ball games are?), and had a few cookouts. I don’t get to Kentucky nearly often enough, so it was wonderful to spend time with my sister and her husband and two of my nephews and their wives and their families.
Today was a driving day, from Charlotte to visit my sister and her family in Bowling Green, Kentucky. It was about 450 miles of easy driving, mainly over interstates (the GPS mixed it up at the beginning and end and sent me through the country, which was a nice change).
