So after a little worrying that nothing would come through....they did. The catalyst being an e-mail via the British Burns Association. Once that was sent out I received a few offers of places to visit; Galveston (Texas) and New York. Phew!

Additionally, I had a message from the Chairman of the Katie Piper Foundation asking whether I would like to contribute to the charity's own journal named the 'Journal of Burns, Scars and Healing', which is an exciting prospect. ...

It was exciting northern Scotland going to Aberdeen, inverneness, Stirling,Dundee and the locks. TheLocks is where Nessie lives. We started off in Dundee and had loads of fun going go karting and then in Aberdeen we saw Jurassic park and for me it was the the best movie ever. Our destination today is Yelvertoft a couple of hours (7 miles) away. It's a fairly easy passage with no tunnels and no locks. Another post office general store stop where the lady advised us that there are no coffee shops. Jam are finding the lack of good coffee quite unsettling.
