... The Galleries of Justice is a museum in the old Nottingham criminal court, prison and dungeons. We went on a tour which started in the Court Room where an actor told us about the court itself and the process of the trails. Then we went down into the prison and looked around the cells, work rooms, laundry rooms, wash areas, exercise courtyards and then down further into the dungeons. ... of our trip before catching the ferry back to England tonight, we'd got a week back in England before setting off to France and the start of the Spring/Summer leg. The ferry left from Rotterdam, so we got up and drove there and had a bit of a look around before catching the ferry. ... period. The tour took us down into the kitchens and then into the tunnels under the grounds. The halls new claim to fame is that they used to hall in the batman film, the dark night rises as wade manor, unfortunately they drew the short straw and didn't get to keep any of the props.
