... between my big bag and my backpack, but did mean I had fewer liquids to carry on. I weighed everything and have about 4lb to spare, so that's a relief. Which leaves my favorite pre-vacation task. Henna tattoo! Sharan and I watched a movie on Netflix and I applied a henna tattoo to both hands. Nothing says, "I'm not going to work for two weeks" like a henna design. :) I hope I can sleep ...

Finally made it to Illinois and still can't believe that I actually drove to see my sis and family! I could have never predicted even a year ago that I would be crazy enough to do this drive. With only one day left, despite the savage exhaustion and cold, I'm sad to say that it's coming to an end. Our next stop was to take a picture of the Gemini Giant at the Launching Pad Drive In in Wilmington. It is one of the three "Giants" in Illinois.
