    ... The weather man has been predicting rain and wind the last couple of nights to clear things up, but is seems to just be wishful thinking! Today, there is a slight breeze and the sun just may be seen at some point, but it's going to take one hell of a wind to clear this up!     ... roads and small towns on the way. Pretty though.
    So.. two reasons for the lack of blogging.. 1- lack of time.. 2- lack of internet. We are finding that campgrounds pretty much all claim "internet service" but what they don't say, is.. It is very slow and shuts down every 5 minutes or so..
    I now have quite a few photos to download and 3 or 4 more entries to catch up to date, but I will get there.. Will now start my next ...

    ... plane for 9 to 91/2 more hours (longer than scheduled due to strong headwinds) were we were jammed in for meals 4 and 5. Home sweet home 2:00 pm OCt 22, 2014. Not sure how we are going to top this trip. And as Trish is fond of saying "Miss you all already!" ...

    ... be caught by a Mountie with a laser gun a little way down the road, whilst doing 85 kph. How incredibly ironical to have driven 13 000 km without a single law enforcement incident, only to be caught less than 200 kms into my home province.

    At first I was a little choked, but then I thought of it this way $219.00 30 days = about $7.00/day speeding tax, a more than reasonable vigourish to pay The Man to look the other way. Sadly it is also 4 demerits, but ...

I babysat her 4 boys back then and the Bishops were part of the group that spent every Thanksgiving at Timberline Lodge in Kearney.
