    ... It's like a see saw, operating on counterweight that continuously balances
    the span the entire upward swing. The next was the railroad bridge that swings sideways and we were out in the open. There were a few nice swells that had us "rolling". I preferred to be on the high side of the boat. At one point from the boat we were able to see 3 states - Conn, NY and Mass. The captains helpers kept us entertained with their stories, lore ...

    We drove from Plymouth, Mass. through Rhode Island and into Connecticut today.
    The rains started about 5 miles before we reached the Rhode Island border and didn't quit until we were well into Connecticut. We stopped for the night at a State Park not knowing that dogs are not allowed in ANY state parks in Ct. Unbelievable.
