... the middle of the river. A few of them are privately owned but anyone can use the others (government owned) for recreational purposes for up to 2 weeks at a time. ... we went from Wisconsin to Iowa to visit friends of Denise and Pete..people they met on their Egypt trip. Shobi and Shiv ( not sure of spelling) ..an Indian couple who have lived in the states for about 20 years. The live in a District...houses are on acre lots ..lovely two story house ...no fences anywhere. They have invisible fences for their pets ...who wear a collar ..prevents them from going outside ...
... who opened it early and had cookies and bottles of water for everyone who came by for a clown show. They had contacted all of the babysitters and daycares in the area and by the time we were ready to get started, there were over 23 kids there! John entertained, handed out balloons (helium ones that the restaurant also provided), cookies, and bottles of water, and after everyone went back to daycare, they treated us to lunch!
... Jim spoke at the final plenary session on "Connected in Fellowship" and did a fantastic job (in my unbiased opinion!) on concluding the conference with how we should work together and be united in Christ.
We had a marvelous trip and thank you for praying for us.

... there seems to be absolutely nowhere to stay directly on the lake. The area is so behind the times, one motel proudly advertised in big bold letters on every door that it was okay to smoke in the rooms.
