Long day of travelling today. Set off around 10. Travelled thru Belgium & the Netherlands before arriving in Germany. Only 3 stops required ('mum I need a wee, dad I need a poo, We're HUNGRY!!'). We walked into town from the Westend, past the large Deutsche Bank skyscrapers. Frankfurt is Germany's New York because it has so many skyscrapers, but that is the only comparison you can draw! Perhaps also because it has a Börse (Stock Exchange) and is a finance centre. It is home to many different corporations including the European Central Bank and the Detusche Bundesbank. The city has more banks than the Nile River!
